Description of Job Duties:

  • We work in major shopping centers selling high quality cosmetics in which our customers expect knowledgeable and presentable staff.
  • Normal trading hours are between 0900-2000 (in one center it’s 900-2100). Sunday 1100-1700.
  • There is no eating and drinking at kiosks, please do so away from kiosks on your breaks. Drinks and food must be stored away from visible sight and are not to be found lying around on kiosks.
  • There is no yelling, or loud speaking allowed in the shopping malls, especially in foreign languages.
  • Well behaved and mannered towards all customers, other employees and mall managers;
  • Absolutely at no time may you attack or follow customers through the mall, or approach them aggressively, especially outside the kiosk area;
  • If a mall employee including security or manager, approaches you be polite and courteous and refer the problem directly to your manager;
  • Never leave the kiosk unattended;
  • Customers are always right, be polite at all times. If there is a problem refer them and the problem directly to your manager. Do not argue with or be rude;
  • Tardiness and closing early are strictly not allowed by mall policy and our company will be fined, therefore you will be responsible to pay for any fines if tardiness or closing early occurs;
  • In the beginning and ending of each day you are responsible to count all stock on kiosk and ensure kiosk is clean and presentable for the next day;
  • If there is stock missing you will be responsible to pay for any missing stock.
  • Every Sunday if you work this shift, you are expected to clean the kiosk including removing all inventory and dusting, to a well presented and clean manner;
  • Every day general dusting and cleaning duties are expected to keep the up keep and appearance of the kiosk;
  • You are responsible to fill in each day the ‘closing page’ to report any items needed for the kiosk

You are expected to be well presented, shaven, clean clothes, clean personal body including hair as well as nails, no excessive jewelry, nice shoes that are closed toed- close toed shoes only, no thongs and sandals allowed.

Closed toe shoes, man wearing smart collar shirts, black elegant pants No Jeans are to be worn to work by either gender.

Special Skills required for these positions: Strong English skills, outgoing, assertive personality. Must like to interact with customers and have the ability to be persuasive in a selling situation.

Wage: 5.80 pounds brute for an Hour or Commission (The higher of the two)

Week will consist of 48 hours at regular rate and over time paid at 125% (shopping centre opening hours may vary).

Commissions structure: The payments will be the higher of either base salary or commission!

Minimal sales required per week 1500 pounds, the company will do all in its power including implementation of our training program in order to get the employees to the minimal sales mark.

Product3Structure:(All commissions are calculated from the net sales after the V.A.T. of 17.5% is deducted) The Base commission is 17% if the employees reach a brute sales goal of 300 pounds that day he gets a bonus and is paid 19% of all his net sales, if the employees reach daily sales goal of 500 pounds he gets 21% of his net sales and if the employees reach the daily goal of 800 pounds he gets 23% of his sales.

At the end of every 2 weeks (a week is from Monday to Sunday) the employee’s sales record will be checked and we will make the comparison of the hourly wage structure and the commission based structure and the employee will receive the higher of the two after the PAYE and N.I. deductions required by law.

If after all efforts an employee won’t reach his/her mark, the company will consider transferring the employee to a different location, a different position or will help the employee relocate.

Benefits:

Employees are entitled to the followings:

  • First week free of rent (Subsidized rent, including all living expenses).
  • £250 grant after 6 months with the company(25 working days a month)
  • £250 grant after 12 months with the company(25 working days a month)
  • Should the employee stay with the company after 6 months their terms will improve to a basic commission of 19% and rent half off.

Please note that outstanding employees might be promoted in the company to receive better terms and great financial profit.

Estimated Average Hours per Week: 48-60 – When employees arrive they will receive 2 weeks of training (”on the job” training). Employees will be trained during this time period. At the end of training your sales performance will be evaluated.

Employee Admission

  • Prior to their arrival, each employee is required to study the company’s code of conduct and memorize the Nail-Kit’s sales pitch, a nice and simple speech to help the employee get started.
  • Each employee’s arrival to England will be properly scheduled and we shall pick them up from the airport straight to the house he is destined to live in.
  • On their first day employees will arrive at the head office for an introductory meeting where all company procedures will be explained. Also we will commence bureaucratic procedures to issue a working and a social security number. New employees will also undergo 2 weeks of basic sales training, during which they will learn the basic concepts of salesmanship and be familiarized with the products. The said training program is designed to help each employee settle into their job.
  • Each employee will work under a company manager in charge of their training. During the first week of the said training period all expenses, food excluded, will be taken care of by the company (week’s rent free).
  • Employees should be aware that they might be transferred from one station or city to another on professional grounds of improving their sales and salary.
